Driver Application / Registration
All racers who would like to be considered for league membership must register
. Please register on both the forum and Member Database and indicate which series you would like to race in.

Racing Rules and Procedures
It is the responsibility of all league members to understand these rules.
Please contact an admin if you have questions.

Computer / Internet Connection
WPracing.com uses the best race servers on the internet.
All racers are expected to have a computer system that is capable of running the sim software we are currently using. If you are having issues with the computer sim software or internet connection then please contact an admin and get these resolved prior to race night. Do not show up on race night and expect the race to be delayed. Admins are available on non race nights.

TeamSpeak Voice Communication
All racers are expected to have teamspeak up and running on race night.

Driving Etiquette
WPracing encourages and promotes “clean” driving amongst all our drivers to ensure a good time for everyone – after all, it is just a game. We don’t want to enforce a long list of technical rules. We’re all here to have fun! The motto is: “there is nothing to win or lose but friendship”. Be fun to race against.
However, there will always be individuals that don’t share our philosophy. If you feel the need to drive unprofessionally, retaliate, wreck another driver, or bring unneeded drama to our league, do yourself and all of us a big favor and go somewhere else! We don’t want to remove anyone from our league, but we will do so if necessary.

General Courtesy
Don’t FORCE your way around another car that is patiently trying to pass a slower car – allow them a lap or two to make a clean pass.
Show up at race time and be prepared to race.
Aggressive driving such as dive-bombing corners or blocking is not allowed and will result in useless incidents.
The bottom line is, BE FUN TO RACE WITH. That is why we are here.

Blocking
Blocking is not allowed except during the last 10 laps. We all know what blocking is. Don't do it. It will get the attention of the race reviewer. The car behind you beating your bumper off is faster, let them pass cleanly.

Double file restart
If there are less than 10 laps remaining, lap cars are required to pass through pit road as the “one lap to go” command is given by the starter.

Cautions & Penalties
Flags are not cleared and caution laps are not shortened. Don't ask.

Pitting
Brake early and practice your pitting during the warm-up or practice period so you know how your brakes will react.
Faking a pit stop, is not allowed.

Re-Starts
No jumping starts. Don't do it. It will get the attention of the race reviewer.
Tires are usually slick on re-starts and traction is reduced. Many wrecks occur in Turn 1 as drivers fight for position. Wait until after you have cleared Turn 2 to attempt a pass for position.

Green/White/Checker
There will be only one attempt for a Green/White/Checkered. If another yellow occurs, all drivers will reposition themselves as they were on the restart and the leader will bring the field around at pace car speed until the race is officially over.

Provisional Points
Provisional points are available in all series. Any driver unable to make a race will automatically receive a provisional.

Note
The driver meeting held prior to every series race is the most up to date instructions for that race. Pay close attention. If something is still unclear then ask an admin. Have fun - And be fun to race with.
